If you are using the Verizon FIOS service, you will need to do one or several of the following

- hook up the FyreTV Boxxx directly to your FIOS modem in to access the FyreTV service

- open the following ports on your home router

TCP: 8181, 8182, 8183, 554, 12697, 21
UDP
: 123

- Call your Verizon Customer Care and ask them to turn on the RJ45 port on the Optical Network Translator (the box on the outside of your house that Verizon runs the fiber optic to), once they turn on the RJ45 port then you can run an ethernet cable to any router (the above ports must still be open on that router).

Note: please be sure to have downloaded the latest firmware updates for your router as this might be the cause of your issue, if you do not know how to update your router firmware you will need to consult the tech support of the company that makes your router
