Your FyreTV service will not be interrupted or affected by most off-the-shelf retail routers or firewalls. Should a problem exist with your router or firewall please refer below for a detailed list of ports that should be open.

Communication port list
In order for the FyreTV service to work properly the following ports need to have an available outbound connection:

TCP: 8181, 8182, 8183, 554, 12697, 21

UDP: 123

Outbound traffic is usually opened  on home routers.
